Suzuki Julietta's manga "Oshi ni Amagami" has been confirmed for a TV anime adaptation. The announcement was made on November 4, 2026 ( a date chosen in Japan as "Oshi Day") and was accompanied by a teaser visual, a promotional video featuring panels from the original manga, and the launch of an official teaser website.
The story follows Hina, a vampire and anime fangirl who moves to Japan to be closer to the fandom of her favorite fictional character. Upon arrival, she discovers that her neighbor, Amanatsu, looks and sounds exactly like that character - but his sharp, sarcastic personality is nothing like the beloved hero. To make matters more complicated, Amanatsu's blood apparently has the power to captivate any vampire.
The teaser visual depicts Hina smiling inside a coffin, surrounded by merchandise of her favorite character, with a blood pack nearby - a feeding method she herself deems unsanitary. The promotional video uses original manga panels to introduce the premise.
