The TV anime adaptation of "Spirit Circle," a fantasy about reincarnation written by Satoshi Mizukami, has been announced for broadcast and streaming starting in December. The story follows junior high student Futa Okeya, who can see spirits, and mysterious transfer student Kyoko Ishigami, whose shared past lives bring deadly conflict. Futa uses the "Spirit Circle" device to relive past incarnations from ancient times to the future to solve the mystery. The anime features voices from Kazuki Ura and Anna Nagase, with Eri Yukimura and Yuichi Nakamura also starring. Renowned director Tatsuo Sato, known for SF coming-of-age series, directed and led series composition before his passing in April; this is his final work. The production is by NAGOMI and EOTA studios collaborating under Twin Engine, honoring Sato's legacy. The ending theme, "Koko ga Donna Sekai demo", is sung solo by Anna Nagase.
